Richdave Posted March 10, 2010 Share Posted March 10, 2010 I just bought a new SATA DVD drive (IIRC it is an LG but I'll check and post back) and it seems flaky after a boot with the Chameleon boot disk and/or while running OSX. Sometimes it makes strange noises, the light blinks lots and most frustrating of all the eject button ceases to work and if you dont have OSX actually booted you have no way to eject the disk! If I only have Chameleon booted and this occurs I have to power down the system and cold start to get the eject button to work and then it may only work during the POST and once the Chameleon is booted it may not work again.
