ltoolio
Hey all, I've recently loaded a PC with SL 10.6.2 and now want to do some of the verification that I've got everything running as smoothly as I can. I'm using Chameleon RC4 as my bootloader (which I run in verbose mode) and I've noticed some time-outs / errors during boot. I've been able to jot some of them down as they quickly scroll down the screen, and I've paused the boot process via the Pause/Break key, but is there any way to force a log file of the start-up messages to be displayed? I figure that will give me a much better way of catching all the messages and will give me a means of comparison after (hopeful) correction. Thanks, LT *****Solved***** After looking at some screen shots, it appears that a log can be found via Kernel.log, which I accessed via the Console app. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/207118-how-to-log-boot-time-startup-messages/ Share on other sites
