Blooky
I found out about Parallel while listening to the Poweruser.TV podcast at work. It's just some ultra fast virtua machine? Is there a performance hit when you run OS X on PC? I have an AMD 64 3400, Geforce 6800, and 1 gig of high quaility ram. Is the Parallel performance hit bad? Could I say play F.E.A.R on Parallel and not stutter? quixos
you won't be able to play F.E.A.R. at this time (if ever) in Parallels. but lots of interesting things are promised with OpenGl integration in their forums. something from Transgaming also allows software accelerated DirectX. but as far as performance goes i'ts great. i'm listening to iTunes, folding proteins with Rosetta@Home, and joining and converting two avi files with DVD Santa in Parallels. no performance hit at all.
