I guessed that this is the problem since this is where the boot loader stops. Then it states "Still waiting for root device".

 

I've attached 2 screenshots - not very clear, sorry about this.

I already tried with no success the following commands:

 

platform=X86PC -v

-x -v

rd=disk0s* -v (replace the * with your OS X partition number)

-f -v

 

If you have a clue of what it can be, please drop a line.

The waiting for root device error means exactly what it says...it can't figure out where the hell to boot from. There's a number of reasons that might cause this, including unsupported SATA, to VIA chipsets. Perhaps you could post your specs for us? Also, there's many, many topics on this throughout the forum, so another search wouldn't help either. :)

Thanks for your answer. I'm reading the forum. The *best* solution for this problem was the jumpers settings,... however, it's not for me.
