2rl
Hello! it's my first topic here and i'd like to say hello to everyone and thanks in advance!. So my problem is that when i turn on my laptop chameleon shows me 3 options mac, linux and win but i don't have any windows installation but a windows partition (just for data). So i want chameleon to show me only mac and linux, i have no idea how to do it, my com.apple.boot.plst doesn't show any "windows" entry to erase. I don't know where to go to change this option. I'm new on this, lol. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/206989-disable-windows-boot-option-from-chameleon-gui-menu/ Share on other sites
titorius
add <key>Hide Partition</key> <string>hd(X,X)</string> to com.apple.boot.plst the first X for the disk and the second X for the partition you want to hide Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/206989-disable-windows-boot-option-from-chameleon-gui-menu/#findComment-1383544 Share on other sites

2rl
Both options are not working for me, i'm using chameleon RC2, edit the com.apple.plst, add the hide option with the correct hd(0,7) and chameleon still shows it in the menu. I tried Lizard and when i press Save, it says there's no "Extra" folder, and it's right, i haven't it, so i can't go on. My com.apple.boot.plst is in Library/preferences/system prefences/ , i've edited it before and went fine but not whit the hide optio, nany solution is welcome, thanks!
