rcarjan
First of all, hello everyone. I'm new to these forums, so I hope I posted this in the right place. Secondly, I have a small problem when trying to install a Mac(hackintosh ) on my PC. So, at first, I wanted to install Snow Leopard ( 10A432 ), but after I downloaded i saw it was for PC's already using Mac. So, I downloaded Kalyway's 10.5.2 AMD / Intel Mac, so I could upgrade to 10.6 later(Followed this guide). The problem is that, after I boot the DVD, and type -v (for verbose mode), an error appears: ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure What could be the problem? And, is there any way to solve this? I think my PC can run it. Here is my configuration: CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz Box Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R Memory: A-DATA 4GB DDR2 800MHz CL5 Gaming Series Dual Channel Kit HDD: 1x Seagate 320GB SATA-II 7200 rpm 16MB Barracuda 7200.11 Graphics card: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB DDR3 256-bit OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600 64-bits (RTM) (these are the most important, if I missed anything, please tell me) And a CPU-Z validation: clickiez. P.S.: Sorry if my english is bad, I'm not british nor american. P.P.S.: Sorry if there were other threads about this problem, but the search function doesn't seem to be working. rcarjan
I managed to install it, but there is a problem: It doesn't boot. I start my pc and when it gets to the grey background with a dark grey apple in the middle it just freezes. Anyone have any ide about what I should do?
