jwalkermed
Just installed a fresh copy of SL 10.6.0, and updated to 10.6.2. I followed tonymac's guide to install directly from the retail disk. See my sig for my specs. Everything (except sound) is running well except after the machine boots into OSx the desktop shows up but it takes 4 minutes before I can click on anything or use the machine. Any suggestions or similar experiences? Any suggestions or similar experiences? Check /var/log/kernel.log file and see where its spending most time. All the lines are timestamped, so should be easy to identify the steps which is taking too long.
