Pyrotechnic
I am currently dual booting OSX 10.4.11 and Windows XP off the same drive. Since the whole OSX thing started out as an experiment, I resized the NTFS partition with acronis disk director to make a small space for OSX to live. OSX ended up working well enough that this computer spends more time booted as a mac, and I'm starting to run out of space. Now I know I can shrink or enlarge my NTFS partition as I please, but is this possible to do with Mac OS ? I want to shrink the NTFS partition, then somehow make the Mac OS partition larger with that newly free space. Is there a way ? z6635
im assuming xp is before osx, so i don't think you can, but you could try shrinking the xp partition inside xp, and enlarging the osx partition inside osx i really doubt that will work, but it's worth a shot alternatively, you can shrink your xp partition, and create a blank partition to place all your files for storage and use them with either os Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/206834-resizing-windowsmac-partitions/#findComment-1382701 Share on other sites
