TeddyBe
Hi all, I've installed snow leopard on my Acer 8930G Laptop without any problem. But before testing Update to 10.6.2, extra kext and install some software, I would like to have a bootable-backup of my working system!!! I succeed to make a backup (SuperDuper) but it failes on making that HDD bootable... How comes I'm not able to make a working bootable backup? What am I doing wrong? How can I solve that problem? I've tries with installing a bootloader and made it DSDT patched or whatever, but it stops with 'loading hfs+ file: mach_kernel from 4230270' Help me out please! Thx, Ted. EDITED: Fixed the problem... I've installed Chameleon 2 RC4 from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=201850 and all went well!!! Reinstalling the right .kext doesn't help nor fix it... Anyone? took a new backup with superduper on the same HDD and now everything works (without Chameleon RC4....). Booting like a charm... damn...
