  5. How to make my HHD backup to boot

... but after installing Chameleon RC4, I don't have my network anymore.... Reinstalling the right .kext doesn't help nor fix it... Anyone? took a new backup with superduper on the same HDD and now everything works (without Chameleon RC4....). Booting like a charm... damn...
  6. Hi all, I've installed snow leopard on my Acer 8930G Laptop without any problem. But before testing Update to 10.6.2, extra kext and install some software, I would like to have a bootable-backup of my working system!!! I succeed to make a backup (SuperDuper) but it failes on making that HDD bootable... How comes I'm not able to make a working bootable backup? What am I doing wrong? How can I solve that problem? I've tries with installing a bootloader and made it DSDT patched or whatever, but it stops with 'loading hfs+ file: mach_kernel from 4230270' Help me out please! Thx, Ted. EDITED: Fixed the problem... I've installed Chameleon 2 RC4 from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=201850 and all went well!!!
  7. Hi, I've had this problem before and I fixed it without knowing how... Yeah, my hackintosh works great. I' installed a NVidia 9300 card (the one with 256Mb ram, 1x VGA, 1x DVI and 1x HDMI). Had some troubles making it QE compatible, but succeeded suddenly... (if anyone has 'the' perfect driver for it, let me know!!!) with one monitor connected on the VGA connector. If I connect a second one on de DVI, I get blue screen with mousepointer witch I can move. So this is my second screen and my first one is 'sleeping'... I've installed a Blackmagic Decklink HD extreme card (with worked before with Hackintosh), but I only have PAL monitor. It's installed by default as HD and as primary video display... Yeah... great isn't it... In the past I pushed a few keys on the keyboard and suddenly the display properties window showed up and so I could change the settings and everything worked!!! My problem... I can't manage to get that windows on my screen again... and I can't find a keyboard shortcut to do that... Can anyone help me out of this mess??? Oh yeah, I'm on iPC 10.5.6 with latest update until today. Thx guys, Ted.
