Leopard doesn't recognize my USB Pen Reader. I can use it on another Hackintosh (10.6.2 Intel) but not on Leopard (10.5.8 AMD). I can use the Pen if i start Windows with VirtualBox, initiate the Pen and immediately close Windows. Then I can access the Pen until I restart the system. Is it possible that this is a problem with an USB driver or the Kernel?

How do I find a solution? Any drivers suggested?

I used iDeneb to install Leopard.

What sort of drivers or kexts have you installed to get this device to work? If you haven't, then apparently SL comes with something in the way of drivers that Leopard doesn't. I'd google to see if this is a widespread issue or if the device even works with Leopard.

I have an installer that installs only an app. There is no driver in this package. I just have to start this app to use the pen. Because it is not a very common device I haven't found anything about it. (CLX.PayPen) The pen works officially on Leopard.

Probably it is a problem with an USB Driver. Because it works if i "wake" the pen up with Windows I think there could be an issue with one of these kexts. But I have no idea which one.
