My PC it's an Acer M1640 (http://www.ciao.co.uk/Productinformation/Acer_Aspire_M1640_Core_2_Duo_E4600_2_4_GHz__6918256) with a ATI HD4650. The problem is that I cannot boot the Hazard Sl version DVD, and I don't know why :S

I think that the Hazard version has all my drivers, but I can't boot the DVD. I also think that this is a SATA problem, because I can't change the SATA mode to AHCI because my bios doesn't allow it, but my DVD is IDE, so the SATA problem doesn't have much sense

Please, help me.

The DVD reboots himself when a few text lines appear, when loading kexts. I've tried with -v -f cpus=1 but nothing, and I've burned the DVD twice.

PD: I have to burn the Hazard DVD from Windows because Leopard (where I am now) doesn't detect my DVD burner. I don't know if that matters.

What happens when you try booting with -v? Do you get the "Still waiting for root device" error?

Hi!

I have that problem.

I'm trying to install it on HP Compaq 6715b (AMD Turion x2 2GHz, ATI x1250 graphics, 2GB DDR2 RAM).

You have any solution for this?

Hi the solution to this is changing your IDE Configuration to AHCI, You can do this in the BIOS, It should be under chipset on the bios
