Trying to install 10.6 on Dell D820. As it boots, it panics on AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. "No HPETs available...CPU(s) configured incorrectly"

I installed 10.6 using Universal installer and then loaded Chameleon RC4 and the following kexts according to the link.

http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...s#Latitude_D820

VoodooTscSync.kext

NVKush

BCM5751Ethernet.kext

PS2KeyboardFix

VoodooHDA.kext

VoodooBattery

Thoughts on why it wants to panic? Should I not be using Uinstaller?

Add NullCPUPowerManagement to your kexts (If you are using Chameleon, just drop it in /Extra/Extensions) and either boot ignoring caches (-f) or regenerate the extensions.mkext in /Extra before rebooting.

I think (but I am not the perfect expert on this topic) that AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement will not KP only if you start playing around with the DSDT.aml file to get Vanilla native power management support.
