xxxrichievxxx
Hello! So I'm trying to upgrade to the latest OS X which is Snow leopard I have my hackintosh already installed with leopard (latest) and i prepaired my USB drive, I used and prepaired an External USB Hard Drive, I dont know if it is anything WAY too different but whenever i boot from it.. I get the "You need to restart your computer". I think its one of my Kext because i read somewhere where it is a Kernal Panic but it looks fancier rather that the typical black background with the numbers and letters. I want to be able to put my kexts so it works with my Notebook Gateway MX8710 Is this "You need to restart your computer" A Kernal Panic? Do you think i need to install my own kexts to the installation disk (External Hard drive for this matter)? I tried this one: http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required AND http://lifehacker.com/5351485/how-to-build...start-to-finish Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/206411-how-to-install-my-own-kexts-on-installation-disk/ Share on other sites
