Hello, peoples... first, sorry my bad english, I'm Brazilian. Well, the problem is: I can't make my audio work (Realtek ALC880). In a past installation of Leopard, I used the Azallia Audio Fix, and worked fine. Now, I used the same disc and the same options, but audio doesn't work. I tried the Audio Fix again, but without results. Well, I tried everything that I found here and in other forums and sites, but absolutely NOTHING works, it's incredible!

Tell what information do you need to try fix my problem and I response more fast that I can. Thank you all!

Azalia Audio Fix - Was it a kext or installer? My computer has the Intel D915GSN Motherboard - ICH6.

I did everything for audio, but it was simple for me. I don't know if you already tried this, but a user on here, DiaboliK, has posted a installer made strictly for ALC880. This provides USB Audio, not Green Jack (Well not me at least). I don't know if Green Jack will work for you, but USB will. But hey, be happy you have some sort of Audio.

The link is over here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37805.

Download, unzip, run the installer, select your HDD for destination, and when it says Installation Complete you MUST reboot. Even if you hear the little ding noise for the first time.

and for a side note, if you say it's incredible that means its a good thing. You should say "NOTHING WORKS, it's unbelievable!"

Man, thanks, but I already tried this fix, w/o success. Well... If I install the Azalia of my Leo4All 4, when start Mac again, this give to me a error, "The kext /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAzaliaAudio.kext/Content/Plugins/IOHDAudioFamily.kext (and AppleAzaliaController.kext) was installed improperly and is unable to use" or similar to this, and when try install the Azalia Fix, no error but continues w/o sound. I'm running Leopard 10.5.4 on a AMD, PCChips A13G+ with Realtek ALC880. Ah, I have Windows XP in another partition, so, if need to use Windows, just say.

Thanks man.
