russkiy Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Recently built my new comp and here are the specs; Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.33ghz ASUS P45 MicroATX Mobo Realtek Onboard Audio PNY GeForce 9800gt 4gb DDR3 RAM SATA WD 500gb HD What i need to know is will i have: Full 1024mb of Video memory All 4 cores QE/CI Also whats the best way to installl? Im thinking of using a retail + boot234 if that works with SL. Ive installed with iDeneb on my laptop in the best, but vanilla would be real nice. A quick answer would be appreciated. Yes, all 4 cores will work, CI/QE works very well on GeForce video cards. You should overclock that CPU, 2.33GHz is really slow. At least push it to 3.. I have stock cooling so im scared to overclock lol... And i tried to install 10.5.8 but as soon as it loads the HFS files my computer restarts... How should i go about installing SL? I'd start with learning how to install Leopard, then after you've got that down you'll have some of the skills you need for Snow Leopard.. In my original post it states that i have installed Mac on my laptop.However im new to Intel, so i might try to Boot132 with 5.8, and if that works out ill move up to SL.
