camirillobrillo
Installed JAS 10.4.6 on a dell c840. Initially received the b0 error. Resolved using gdisk 1 /mbr then gdisk1 /act /p:1. Now it runs through the loding real quick and reboots in a constant loop. Cannot even use a -v to troubleshoot as it doesn't make it that far into the boot process before it reboots. Deviant0ne
I'm not sure if this would help, but if I were you, I would apply JaS' PPF1 patch to your DVD and try reinstalling. JaS' PPF1 has been known to fix that b0 error right out of the box, and maybe that would resolve your reboot issue as well. Same here - I used fdisk to do my b0 repair, and I'm in the infinite reboot loop. Trying to get the patch, but it's not seeded well... Bradley
If anyone's figured this out, please let me know. When I boot to OSx86 (I used JaS 10.4.6 DVD) I can hit F8 or do one of the -v options, but whatever I do, it gives me a whole bunch of scrolling white text (This is going extremely fast) then the screen goes black, then reboots. I installed using the VMWare to native method. Help would be greatly appreciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20623-stuck-in-a-reboot-loop/#findComment-152186 Share on other sites

KRav3N
I figured this one out by screwing it up myself. You get the reboot loop if you install patches you don't need. By default they all install. You must go and configure the options during install and unselect any of th patches you dont need. Once i erased my disk and did this everything was golden.
