I plan on buying a netbook soon, and I was wondering, now that the Dell Mini 9 has been discontinued, which netbook is the most compatible with hackintosh? Thanks for any help you can provide. ;)

dell mini 9 / dell vostro a90 or dell mini 10v. look no further.

i bought a vostro a90 (business version of the mini 9) a few days okay. everything works.. sound, wireless, lan, sleep, bluetooth.. perfect! and so simple to install...

I have a 10v and everything works perfectly on it. And I mean everything, sleep, audio in/out, cam, wifi, ethernet, you name it it works

My son's macbook died and he does alot of video conversions with his laptops. Would any of these new laptops be better than the rest for video conversion? How about also for hooking up to an external LCD projector? Thanks.

That huge thread about HP mini 311 ought to answer that question.. it has the ion or 9400m nvidia card in it.. it is the cadallic of netbooks.. other than that my suggestion is the 14z from dell if cpu power is a biggie and internal dvd drives are not.. but get it from the outlet at dell.. it only cost $100 more than a brand new mini 311 that way.. although a refurb 311 could run you $280 which is an unbelievable deal in all respects.

Just about everything works with the 311 except for WiFi (which can be fixed with a Dell 1510 for $28). This is one of my most recommended OSX86 netbooks out there. Convinced 7/9 people I know with one to switch. It was easy to convince them though, as they are already Mac users.

so, NOW, 2011..is there a 100%, FULLY WORKING, I mean F U L L Y, with blutooth, WIFI, webcam, sound, trackpad, overclockable netbook ?

of course there is the compability chart, but.. :( ..

- Dell mini10v

- HP Wind ( overclockable via BIOS)

- Dell vostro a90 ( but only 9 inch, and not available any more)
