Melbournesurf13
Ok so here's my deal- I have the dreaded chain0 boot error. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the boot entry using EasyBCD. I have tried deleting chain and reinstalling it. I have changed easybcd boot from MBR to EFI and back again. I also have tried booting the partition using the install (kalyway 10.5.2) dvd...it sends me back to the installation prompt. Disk util doesnt list my partition. I have used MacDrive but it cannot find my partition...However, Diskpart shows my partition and all the correct info--- also a program known as UFS explorer, which can see and list all my folders/files. I absolutely need to access the partition so I can write some very important files back to my windows partition b4 I clean house to install Snow Leopard... Any ideas? Lord_Jeremy
Man that blows. I don't know what to suggest to fix it. If you need to get files, I'd recommend just downloading a Linux LiveCD (make sure it supports HFS+) and trying to get your data with that. In the future, always make sure you have a backup!
