I have a Dell Alienware Aurora, I7 920, 12 gigs memory and an ATI Radeon HD 5870. I've tried various versions and keep having the same problem. When i boot to the DVD, the files start to copy but after a few secs my machine reboots. This happens with every version i have tried. Any ideas, could it be a bios setting maybe? Thanks.

The answer could be a bit strange but I got it several times, sometimes for a good reason because I forgot for example ACPI driver. but sometimes for an unknown apparent reason. I wonder if everything goes fine at each install so, try to redo it carefully.

Thanks for the reply. I did manage to get it installed using cpus=1, this is iAtkos v7. I'm dual booting here, windows 7 on one drive and iAtkos on a seperate drive. I just can't boot to the installation now. When i restart i see the dual booting options using Chameleon 2 but as soon as i select the install i get an error message saying i need to restart. I can't use -v to help with the issue as i can't access the darwin prompt using f8 with this install for some reason. Any ideas?
