I boot into root to edit all my system files, I'm not a fan of terminal, here is how to enable root user Open the Utilities folder Open Net Info Manager Click the lock icon and enter a user name and password for a user with administrative rights Then select Security Then select Enable Root User Click OK when you get a message stating that the password is blank Create a root password Then logout and login with root as user and your root password you just created Just copy the files over, then run disk utility to repair permissions Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2057-sorrry-4-being-boring-but-really-no-battery/#findComment-40142 Share on other sites
