i also tried to place the file manually, but it said i don't have enough pivillage to do so. but i am the Admin, what the hecK????!

I boot into root to edit all my system files, I'm not a fan of terminal, here is how to enable root user

Open the Utilities folder

Open Net Info Manager

Click the lock icon and enter a user name and password for a user with administrative rights

Then select Security

Then select Enable Root User

Click OK when you get a message stating that the password is blank

Create a root password

Then logout and login with root as user and your root password you just created

Just copy the files over, then run disk utility to repair permissions
