marv4u
Hi there, i got SL 10.6.2 running on my PC for some longer time. But from the beginning, i got a very annoing noise from my cd-rom drive. about every 30sec my pc checks the status of the drive and makes 3 short *click* noises and the drive led is flashing. i dont know what it is but its extrem annoing... maybe some know how to find the problem. In windows i dont have this error, so the drive is in good health. Its like: *click* ..1sec.. click* ..1sec.. click* ..30-45sec.. *click* ..1sec.. click* ..1sec.. click* and so on MB: P5Q-WS CPU: Q9550 RAM: 4GB 800mhz ddr2 CDROM: LG (dunno exact name) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/205689-cdrom-drive-problems/ Share on other sites
