My toshiba Is an intel chipset i845E, southbridge is 82801db(ICH4), vendor id:8086, Device Id:24c5 Audio did work a time ago, but then i started reinstalling osx over and over again and the audio just broke for some reason. BuXb Posted June 27, 2006 Share Posted June 27, 2006 I have a Toshiba Notebook,too, with Intel High Definition Audio, and it NEVER worked. The systems I had installed were/ are 10.4.5 and 10.4.6. You didn't mention the sound chip in your Notebook ..
