I have been trying to install SL on my Dell Inspiron 6400 using a SL DVD I bought from Best Buy Last night. I have followed both of these guides, but both fail. The first guide, http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...194738&st=0 uses the boot 132 method. SL seems to install fine but it wont boot into the OS after, the verbose out put hangs on ebios error 0x01. The second guide, http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...188498&st=0 , http://trikks.wordpress.com/2009/09/23/del...leopard-server/ does not work for me either. I am using a leopard VM to complete the steps in the second guide, but when I try to install SL via the VM the installation fails. I have followed each guide at least 5 times each spending most of today, and a good part of last night looking for answers. I really would appreciate some insight, and help. Thank you.
