jcruzlara Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 I was messing around with an old monitor I have with osx I had tried to make the resolution higher than 1024x768... or w/e on my laptop but I couldn't it would just stay the same then I tried it while the monitor was plugged it and it worked! the resolution went to 1280x1024... I opened my laptop but the monitor was turned off I couldn't get it to turn off when I rebooted and put in the res it shut off so I gues you can't go above the res your monitor can support but 1280x800 is not in the options on darwin anyone know a fix for this?
