moses.lp
Hi, I've installed iPC on my external usb hard drive. When I try to boot OSX it sometimes fails to continue at a certain point. (Hard drive stops spinning). In verbose mode it stops at "waiting for IOResources". Well, as already said, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know when, how or why. Is there any solution to that? regards, sebastian Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/205192-problem-booting-osx-on-an-external-usb-hard-drive/ Share on other sites

Lord_Jeremy
Sounds like still waiting for root device or some similar error. Maybe a conflict between SATA/IDE controller and drivers? Probably not easily fixable, sorry .
