Albert Xandrich Crosas Posted December 29, 2009 Share Posted December 29, 2009 Hi there, I have recently bought a PHASE X 24 FW audio interface. The instalation was good, but there is one problem. When I try to record a bass or a guitar it's recorded in MONO, non in stereo!! I've read that there are some inpunt and output channels in mono, but I imagine that there have to be - at least- the front XLR and Jack analog inputs in stereo. I don't understand the paradygm... TomHoward Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 How do you mean Mono, as in they are appearing on just one side of the stereo recording? This is most likely a setting in your recording software, as most software will have switchable stereo or mono audio tracks, with switchable routing in to them - is it possible you're making a stereo recording instead of a mono recording with an instrument only connected to the left input?
