Phase x 24 fw problem

Hi there,

I have recently bought a PHASE X 24 FW audio interface.

The instalation was good, but there is one problem. When I try to record a bass or a guitar it's recorded in MONO, non in stereo!!

I've read that there are some inpunt and output channels in mono, but I imagine that there have to be - at least- the front XLR and Jack analog inputs in stereo.

I don't understand the paradygm...

How do you mean Mono, as in they are appearing on just one side of the stereo recording? This is most likely a setting in your recording software, as most software will have switchable stereo or mono audio tracks, with switchable routing in to them - is it possible you're making a stereo recording instead of a mono recording with an instrument only connected to the left input?
