attention_getter
Okay, I have a dual boot config so its pretty important (convenience wise) that I'm able to access my HFS+J on my Windows, hence, the MacDrive installation. However, MacDrive doesn't show that there's any HFS+J drives in Windows Explorer. So, I tried TransMac. Also no luck--it doesn't detect any HFS+J drives either. When I use MacDrive Disk Utility though to check disks, it does notice there's a "system32" disk that's the same size as my HFS+J...except my HFS+J drive is called "Mac" and not "system32". I don't see that anyone else is having this problem. I am able to boot into Leopard and I am able to see my Vista drive from Leopard. I have given full read+write access to "everyone" in Leopard's sharing and permissions on the "Mac"-HFS+J. Any thoughts? I thank you all in advance. attention_getter
In addition, I do not have the SPTD.SYS file in: C:/Windows/System32/Drivers folder. It's not even in there. I also do not currently have 120% or DT installed, but did before a long time ago, but I still don't see the SPTD.SYS file in there, so I don't think that's the issue. Lord_Jeremy
Sounds more like a Windows problem to me. I have MacDrive in Win7 and I can see my HFS+J drive quite fine. sudi
yes, look more like a windows problem, maybe you should try updating to MacDrive 8, i've got similar problem when using MacDrive 7 with compatibility on my windows 7, but after updating to MacDrive 8, it works fine Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/204429-macdrive-transmac-not-detecting-hfsj-partition/#findComment-1372890 Share on other sites

Neither Windows nor MacDrive will be capable of working with a drive configured in this manner."
