Well, I finally could boot the image correctly (I was trying with an external USB HDD) by installing it to a secondary partition.

It booted right away even without any boot options (I choose -v just to see what was happening) but ... it is really SLOW!!

It takes 10 min (at least) to boot then while using it, it is also slow. (even though with usage it software tend to become bit faster). I find it slower on this Turion64 then on PearPC emulated on a XP1500+...

I check the processes monitor and initialy I didn't saw any abnormal kernel CPU usage... but anytime I call up an app or window the kernel usage did jump to 80% (but never 90 or 100%)

I've been trying to patch it with coregraphics and by removing ATI drivers and AppleTPM kext, but then the boot seemed to halt on "checking disk"...

I noticed that the booting process "wastes" a lot of time in some kind of mDNSResponder processes and I suspect that the process to mount the ntfs partition takes much of that time too. Also, the following image appears a lot during boot: display: family specific matching fails.

Well, I'm no developer so I can't interpret this issues but if I could disable the automatic mounting of the ntfs drive maybe I could find some tip...

Do you know how can I disable the mounting?
