jami0879 Posted December 28, 2009 Share Posted December 28, 2009 Hi There I have a problem, When i quit certain applications (Xcode,Photoshop and After Effects CS4, Grab and a few more) the window goes away but there is still a dot under the application in the dock and when i right click the icon in the dock it says application not responding, I have tried quitting the application in activity monitor and also using terminal but the application will still remain not responding which is annoying because i have to restart my computer to use them again, Is there a fix for this? I brought it up because in my experience, using the hacked kernel can solve a lot of random problems. Lord_Jeremy Posted January 10, 2010 Share Posted January 10, 2010 Ugh, that's an interesting solution. Sounds like a problem with an IDE bus kext. Might you try replacing the drives with SATA DVD drives?
