I followed all the steps

(Delete VoodooHDA, repair permissions

Copy kexts in /System/Library/Extensions, repair permissions and reboot)

but my IDT still doesn't work. Why?

I have also tried to reinstall my SL Universal but nothing...my idt seems don't work with that kexts.

It's very strange because the ID of the the IDT audio card in the screenshot is the same of my card

Is there any step that I forget?

Please help me.... :-(

Thanks

The kexts are stored in /system/library/extensions folder. go to that folder, search the kext and delete it in the same way you delete a simple file. Leopard will ask you your account password. Insert password and all it's done. After that it's better if you repair your disk permission using the leopard Disk Utility application (in Applications/Utility)

bye
