SnowOSX Install DVD Reboots Itself Before Installing

Hi, I've been setting up a leopard/win7 dual boot system. Recently I got things working decently well, with osx and win7 both installed, when I messed up some of my kexts and needed to do a full reinstall. To my absolute chagrin, for some reason now whenever I try to start up the osx installer from the DVD, the installer reboots the system, only to try to run the installer again, and reboot, etc. It's pretty awful. This isn't a root device not found thing, its the DVD installer rebooting the system over and over for god knows why. I reformatted my entire hard drive to see if the DVD was looking at current installations, but even that didn't help. I'm really at a loss here, and if someone could point me to how I could get things working as before, that would be nice. I'm running a p5q pro mobo with a modified dsdt bios.
