I am very new to this and I have everything except for my audio working. I am working with a Sigmatel 9220. I have tried many different kexts and nothing I have done seems to work. If somebody could please help me through this it would be much appreciated.

Did you try VoodooHDA? http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=355

Thanks for the reply. I have tried that and it does not seem to work. Maybe I am loading it the wrong way. What is the method for installing it. Thanks.

Kext_Utility.app.zip drag and drop the latest VoodooHDA.kext on top of this utility, reboot with with -v -f

1- Do you see any devices in Sound Preferences?

2- Are you running Snow Leopard?

3-Have you ever had sound?

4-Is it a laptop?

Thank you so much for your help. It now works perfect.

Thanks Mutis, sound is perfect but mic is not working. It recognizes the mic but it is not working

Download and install pref panel if it doesn't solve your problem you may need to do some after installation patching, unfortunately Slice didn't write a guide yet but if you attach a "getdump" in this or projectosx forum someone would help. You'd find "getdump" utility in the same page you D/L VoodooHDA also read tips and tricks .

Thanks.... Mutis. Now, I got the mic working. I installed pref panel and found that record level was 0. I increased the record level to full and now thanks to you, I got the mic working.

Enjoying my life.
