would there be any Mac OS X compatible for those specs? and also would i be able to install mac os x on my second internal hdd which is just being used to keep my files in it (videos, music etc)...

all the help possible would be much appreciated :)

This really depends upon your Hackintosh experience level. If this is your first venture into hacks, then you need to read up on the subject here and at OSX86 wiki.

Also, your expectations need to be set. Almost every hack has a problem or weakness someplace. Expectation that you are going to dual boot between Win7 and OSX 10.x without resetting BIOS parameters needs to be established and that may dictate the order to install and what release to install.

The current state of community support here on this web site is the best ever and there are some great install guides. If this is new to you, I would suggest that you hack a machine that you don't need to use on a daily basis. Once you are experienced then putting Leopard or Snow Leopard on the machine that you describe is fairly trivial.

yeah i figured someone would say something like that xD.... damn, i think ill have to test it out on an older pc first then  who knows... if that goes good... i might even stick to that one .. but i still would like to know more about doing an install on this pc seeing as its super fast :P

One way to get started is to invest in "HDD Mobile Racks" so that your hard drive(s) are quick change without having to open up your chassis. For example, look at Kingwin KF-91-BK, available for about $20 each. You could move your Win7 boot drive to one of these trays. You would shutdown the system, swap in your project drive and go as far as you can (on you hack). Then shutdown and restore you Win7 by swapping drives and rebooting (may have to reset the BIOS also).

But you really need to read a lot of the web pages for base line information. Armed with knowledge and the desire you can get your feet wet. You can do it if you spend the time to learn how the OS is designed to work and how the community has resolved many issues. If however you just want to play with OSX, then you should pruchase an Apple go from there.

Thanks for the speedy reply :)... i would get an apple macbook pro if i could but they wont give it to me on finance cause im a Full Time Student and its too much to get in one go xD.. so the only thing im left with is to install mac os x on an older pc that i can just reboot back to windows xp if anything goes wrong :)
