brainwav
Hi people, I'm just wondering what's the reason to go retail over something like Kalyway or iPC? Is it just the legal aspect of it? I own a retail copy of 10.5.6 and can run kalyway, but I'm still trying to install the retail and if there's no difference then maybe I'll stop. Also, I'd like to make iPhone apps and sell them on the app store, so will apple be able to detect that I've compiled it with Kalyway and not retail? will1384
For me, I went with installing from Retail because I just don't trust something downloaded from a random torrent, it would be very easy to put something bad in the ISO and you would never know, and even if you had a Hash to compare, who says the original author would not have put something in there, its all about money, and there is a lot to be had from stealing your personal info and using your computer in a botnet Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/203649-retail-vs-other/#findComment-1367570 Share on other sites
