Hey everyone!

So I'm new here, and I need some help.

Basically, I'd like to Hackintosh my computer. I'm not a total idiot, I understand most things, I learn quickly, and I have a pretty big knowledge about computers. I've tried to Hackintosh before (and failed), so I understand the general idea of whats going on.

I don't really know where to begin. All I know is that I'd like to install (some version of) OSX on my computer, preferably the newest version. (10.6 i think?)

Here's my setup:

Case: Thermaltake SopranoRS

CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 740 BE (not exactly released yet, so im thinking it may cause problems)

RAM: 2GB Kingston DDR2 800

MOBO: Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P

HDD: 500GB RAID 0 (not sure if its SATA or IDE - i can check if necessary)

GPU: Two ATI Radeon HD 4870s (CrossFire enabled)

OS: Windows 7 RC

Basic info would be nice! (what to use, where to look, what to download, etc)

Thanks! :(

a 10.5.7 or 10.5.8 distro is probably your best bet as sl is a bit new and will require some pretty deep knowledge of hacking to get it right , try ideneb or iatkos they seem quite popular and lots of ppl have success with them, do a search with the distro and your MB in the search and you will more than likely find lots of help here
