manamana
Hi there, I successfully installed iDeneb 1.6 on this machine: Asus K8V SE Deluxe Athlon64 3000+ NVidia 7600GS 256MB AGP 250GB IDE HDD 1,5GB RAM I can boot into OSX without a problem using -x, but in "normal mode" it kernel panics with "Warning: invalid kernel IP, wont attempt to handle trap.". I already tried all kernels that ship with iDeneb. What could be the reason for that panics? Leo4All 10.5.2 worked quite well some time ago on this machine, but I'd like to use something more up-to-date. Lord_Jeremy
Hmm... Google says you might need a CPUID.kext, so I'd do some searching for that and see if it helps. Good luck! manamana
Thanks for your help! I found out it was the Wireless NIC (WG311T) which caused the trouble. Removing the kexts let the machine boot fine. But this machine is a real pain in the ass for setting up OSX. Sorry but it's absolutely horrible. USB problems with sticks, troubles with the graphics card, wireless- no way, etc..
