I use laptop Dell Studio 1555, as you know right after turning on the laptop, the screen shows a process with the DELL logo and 2 options (F2 to setup and F12 to boot options), but if I restart from Mac OSX then when the screen comes back, the first process stucks at the middle, and I have to use the Power button to turn it off and turn on again in order to go through this process.

I don't know what kext causes this problem, but I think one of them does since I face this problem after I installed some kext (voodoops2controller, BCM5784M Broadcom Ethernet, VoodooHDA).

And by the way, I also have problem with the Sleep mode. Firstly, whenever I leave my laptop for about 15 minutes, the Sleep mode starts and when I come back, I see the same screen like when I leave, but I cannot do anything, the mouse and keyboard seem to appear.

Secondly if I choose Sleep from Apple, some text lines appear on the screen mixed with the desktop scree, and the laptop also stops, I have to use Power to boot it again.

Thank you for reading, sorry for my bad English and wordy structure. Looking forward you help!

Ok with the Sleep issue, I would just go to system preferences->energy saver and turn sleep off. It seems your system cannot enter sleep properly. In regard to the system failing to POST when you reboot after Mac OS X, that sounds like a DSDT issue, which maybe be more trouble than it's worth. It's also possible your motherboard is on the way out. I doubt it but I guess a kext could cause this issue too. Does it still happen when you power off completely and then boot?
