hogfan
Well, I finally ran out of SATA ports on my Gigabyte board and I need to get another HDD connected. I have an old SATA PCI card came out of my old PC that I'd like to use. I have it in the Hackintosh now, but it doesn't look like it is detected. I can get the BASE bios for the card from Sil's website and reflash it, but am not going to go to the trouble if this card won't work. I know it's only SATA 150, but I just need the additonal disk mounted. I can put it in a Win 7 PC to flash the bios and to get the Device ID, however, if I need to add the device ID to a .plist I'm not sure which kext I should be editing. I am currently using the SATA driver stickied at the top of this forum on Leopard 10.5.7. Any direction is extremely appreciated. -hogfan
