A hackintosh pro
Hey, guys, I'm back in the OSx86 scene and need some help with my graphics drivers. I'm getting a new PC soon so I want to run Leo on one PC and Win7 on the other. I'm committed to getting this working now. I've got everything except sound and my graphics card working (it's at 1400x1050 on a 22"). It looks terrible because the recommended display mode is 1680x1050. I downloaded something called gf5200 from somewhere (not insanelymac) before I formatted this drive and tried to install SL (unsuccessfully, you see). That was the ONLY driver (probably in the world for me ;() that supported 1680x1050 on the 5200. All others are going straight from 1600x1024 to 1600x1200. I've tried: Natit NvInject NvEnabler nVidia Kexts NvKush NvKushComplete Efi Strings Adding device ID to Geforce.kext and a crapload of other kexts, and different combinations. Titan Whatever DiaboliK made NVDA or whatever it is a(n) (apparently) different gf5200 Just about everything you could imagine. So how do I get this danged thing workin'?
