alvin777
Hi. Has anyone encountered horizintal streak on the LCD monitor. It looks like rain but it goes horizontal. It would start at the bottom then go up then repeat like a Jacob's ladder. Is this a monitor, a GPU or power problem? Never mind the other artifacts like the blackened sections on the screen (has to do with the camera's quality). Recommendations are welcome. It looks like this: Thanks in advance. Gbu. crash+burn
What computer do you have? Is this an external monitor or a laptop/iMac? We need more info to be able to help. alvin777
Hi. It's an external monitor with VGA connector. I figured it was the cable (I tested it with another VGA cable) of all things. Thanks. By the way if I'm gonna' replace the cable though I think the cable is still part of the warranty (though I may not have time to wait for the replacement coz' with warranties you have to give them the whole package with box), is there a cable that has a VGA at one end then the other end would be a Display Port so I don't have to use an DVI or HDMI adapter/dongle? Thanks. Happy new year and merry Christmas. Looks like you're stuck with dongles for now!
