jakebb
Alright, I need to dual boot windows 7 and snow leopard on a single disc. I used to do it with iatkos v7, since iatkos works with Master Boot Record. But snow leopard does not work with mbr, so I had to reformat to guid. But now windows 7 refuses to install on guid. After that, I decided I would get bootcamp working, since regular mac users use that anyway. I downloaded a modified version of bootcamp that works on hackintoshes. Bootcamp starts up, but then says I can't use it on an external hard drive. I though maybe it was bootcamps fault, but when I go to disc utility, it says my hard drive is external. So, how do I make it think its internal? My hard drive is internal, I don't know why it would do this. Please help. MacUser2525
Bump Why not just put another disk in the machine and solve the problem? Aside from the fact I have installed windows 7 onto a guid partitioned disk like it lets you do so that should work anyways. If you go two disk solution put the windows drive as the first one in the system as it tends to screw with any drives that are located before it, I usually disconnect the power to other drives in a system when installing to be safe..
