dbffreq
Hi, I bought a Dell SX2210T touchscreen for use with my MacBook Pro, hoping I'd be able to find drivers for it. OS X 10.6 has API for tablets and multi-touch, so, I'm hoping to use this monitor for dev work until Apple releases their tablet and touchscreen iMacs. I haven't been able to find drivers for the touch screen at all -- no multi-touch, not even drivers to emulate mouse clicks. Touch-base is working on updating their Mac drivers to a new version that will support multi-touch with the touch screen in the SX2210T, but they won't be released for "several weeks". I'm hoping to find an interim solution. Driver info for the touch screen: Touchscreen: Product ID: 0x0064 Vendor ID: 0x1926 Version: 0.01 Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec Manufacturer: NextWindow Location ID: 0x24121000 Current Available (mA): 500 Current Required (mA): 100 I've contacted the manufacturer, NextWindow, but haven't received a response. If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Brad

dbffreq
I heard the same from NextWindow. Touch-base (http://www.touch-base.com/) said that they're in the process of updating their Mac drivers. They should be ready in a few weeks. They also said that their drivers will support multi-touch.

When requesting a d/l from touch-base, which Touch Controller do we select for the SX2210T? Thanks
vrjim
Controller: NextWindow, MT1950, USB BTW, I just emailed them for an update. "We do intend to support this if possible and have one in our development lab but other more pressing issues keep getting in the way. We've pushed it back to June now." Samy11
Controller: NextWindow, MT1950, USB BTW, I just emailed them for an update. "We do intend to support this if possible and have one in our development lab but other more pressing issues keep getting in the way. We've pushed it back to June now." Please note that their driver download page does not show MT1950, USB Controller. May be I missed it. I searched it again carefully, could not find it. I sent request to them also. Nik Louch
Any updates to this? Did touch-base ever release anything? I emailed a while back and they said they were going to work on it, but still nothing. I'm beginning to lose hope - it's a shame because it's a lovely monitor and just wish it worked with my mac...
