SpeedfreaK
Hey, A long story: i dropped a beer on my unibody macbook. luckely i had an insurance (not applecare, but something similair). the beer was dropped on the keyboard and it also went in the air ventilation (under the screen hinges). there were artefacts on the screen and the backlight was flickering. so the graphics card (which is soldered on the motherboard) definitely had beer over it. they repaired my macbook, but the only thing they did was replacing the keyboard, trackpad and the aluminium unibody frame. so no new motherboard. but i'm sure there was beer on the motherboard. so i thought i make some benchmarks to test the video card and compare them with others with an unibody macbook. good idea? my macbook: 2.0 ghz, 2gig ram, 160 gig hard drive, snow leopard and xp (with snow leopard drivers (important for benchmarks!)) i'd love to have some results from more or less the same macbook. Xbench and 3dmark (2006 and vantage) results are very welcome! (note that in xp i use the bootcamp drivers that came with snow leopard) Thanks in adance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/201953-unibody-macbook-benchmarks-needed/ Share on other sites
SticMAC™
Beer won't make it work slower, unlike on humans!! It will either work, or not work! Geekbench has a bunch of stats on their website for you to compare. SticMAC ps, the first stage in, in solving a drinking problem is to admit you have one, thanks for sharing you initial revelation with us! You'll find the number of you local AA in the yellowpages, get help before you loose you mac entirely!
