private
The cpu fan is always on. In windows is always off thanks to Rmclock. I put AMD patches and powermanagement.bundle, but I have a noisy lappy using the nice OsX86. My hardware is HP DV5036ea with AMD Turion ml-32 and chipset ATI X200 What can I do to have a quite lappy? SaberSHO
Look up the DynamicSpeedStep discussion thread in the drivers section. Once you have the latest (1.02, page 16) ACPICPUThrottle.kext version installed, head to the XLabs CPUThrottler forum and download CPUThrottler2Beta1. When im done writing it, it will be the equivalent of RMClock. private
Thanks Saber. It works, but unfortunaly Cputhrottler let me set only 2 speedstep 1600 or 1800 mhz. Not below 1600 that means quite full speed, heater and noisy.
