10.5 EFI + New RC4 Chameleon

Add Graphics Enabler to Boot.plist

Add kernel line to boot plist (pci1)

!!! CHECK for left over "<" ">" as they can screw it up. <--- that was the issue

Also removed the string for HEX.

everything is up and running on graphics end.

You have to work with DSDT.aml file in /Extra folder with Chameleon. You can setup different devices: ethernet, audio, video with this file without touch anything from files of Snow Leopard. There is a application that can help you: http://www.osx86.es/?p=610. Search about DSDT video from google.

Thank you guys sooooo much for the reply ;)

I have dsdt working and only 1 error when i pulled it from my board (fixed that). Cmos as well. I'll try the new kext and give that a shot :P and report back. I am using 64 though will these work ok or are there builds for Snow Leopard?

aty_init.kext <-- Do I need HEX for that under boot?

I also read up on 9f23 installer and it works with gt/gs stuff. Anyone ever try that or NVinstaller?

Alright guys....

Here's an update:

Tried the following...

NVINJECT 64bit from kexts.com - no good

NVENABLER - no good

f92 from 10.5.5 ( i was desparate) - no good

EFI - no QE/CI but all rez works - no good

ATY_INIT.KEXT - kext loaded but no res or nothing working - no good

I posted even a dump on osx project forums with nvenabler or inject (can't remember)

I have a hdd right now running 10.5.8 that has QE/CI working. Is there anyway that information can be used to fix SL? I can follow directions on dumps or kextstats . I would really like EFI working if possible to keep it as vanilla as possible. Could it also be my DSDT file?

At this point I want a fully working video system as 64bit SL is blowing past my 10.5.8 install. I have no problem "donating" for someones time , knowledge, and hard work. I am upping my paypal price to 30.00 for a working graphics setup as vanilla as possible. I am a grown adult and know when i've been licked and don't have a lot of funds but willing to really put money where I feel it's deserved.

I am currently now trying out if it's possibly 10.5 efi VS 10.4 VS 10.3 EFI

Quick question...

I have in my bootlist

<key>Graphics Enabler<key>

<string>yes<string>

Do you use "yes" or i've seen "Y" under string. would that mean it's not actually using Graphics enabler cause i used the wrong answer?

Also, do I need to type GraphicsEnabler=y on chemelon boot? Maybe it's something that stupid?
