I bought a setup with OSX installed on it using the kalyway 10.5.2 disc. It had two partitions (one bigger one smaller), both were formatted osx journaled and worked fine.

I decided to try the dual boot config using 1 HD (since it already had 2 partitions) and reformatted the smaller empty partition to FAT32, all was fine until I rebooted. Upon reboot I get an error that says "non-system disc". I did not reformat the partition that had my OSX install on it so I guess I am confused at what I do from here....

Although I have everything backed up I spent countless hours installing music recording software and use this setup for recording music so please, your help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

FYI: I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff so go easy on me

Thanks for the reply...

Any idea why I am not able to boot into OSX anymore? Even if I select to boot from the OSX partition I get the "NON-SYSTEM DISK" error message. Does the Kalyway 10.5.2 install version require a second mac os extended journaled partition in order to boot into osx?
