factory
Hi, I've been trying to make a DSDT.aml to enable 4 Cores on my Intel i7 920 @ 2.66Ghz. The method was deleting the line with Alias but when I've booted my OS X, only in System Profiler shows 4 Cores and in Activity Monitor only shows 1 Core. Is there a possibility that I've made a wrong DSDT? I'm using Chamaleon 2.0 RC3 and OS X 10.5.8 with Vanilla Kernel. Thanks in advance. Diego. Lord_Jeremy
Hmm. With an i7 I think you'll have better luck with the Voodoo kernel. May not even need the DSDT. I recall a friend of mine was able to get all cores working and I think he did that with just the kernel. Lord_Jeremy
When you install your distro, check out the kernel options. There should be either Voodoo 9.5.0, 9.7.0, or both.
