fyangster
XPS_M140P.tiff This is how I got my hackindell xps m140 to upgrade to 10.5.8 1. download the combo update kit 10.5.8 (google) 2.install the update package but do not restart 3. install the tool kit repair I only select the voodoo so I can boot (because it my original) 3.repair your permission and restart. After the upgrade If you're getting stuck at the boot screen where the spinning wheel and a circle with a line across it. This is how I got it to work. Put your ideneb, iatkos, kaly disk in restart and do a reinstall from your disk do not format or partition your drive. 1. I unselect the main system. 2. I only select my graphic, hard drive, and the chameloen because those are the things that broke when I upgrade. Once the reinstall are complete restart your PC. 3. The first time when I boot I use the command voodoo it booted, then it restart my PC then I try to boot again and it went through my hackindell. 3. If you encounter other things that does not work once you in your mac go back to your disk and select the rest.
